Flavoxate
Flavoxate is a smooth-muscle relaxant which is reduce muscle spasms of the bladder and urinary tract. Flavoxate helps to reduce leaking of urine, feelings of needing to urinate right away, frequent trips to the bathroom, and bladder pain.
These bladder symptoms are often caused by overactive bladder, prostate enlargement, bladder infections, or irritation of the urethra.
Flavoxate will not treat a bladder infection. Infections must be treated with an antibiotic.
Indications:
• Painful urination
• Frequent or urgent urination
• Increased night-time urination
• Bladder pain
• Incontinence (urine leakage).
How to store:
keep at room temperature.
